DEQ Air Quality Division Director Lynn Fiedler is Retiring

 

MDEQ recently announced that Lynn Fiedler, Air Quality Division (AQD) Director, is retiring on March 9, 2018. Lynn has served the citizens of Michigan for more than 35 years, all with the AQD.  She has been a thoughtful leader and a true public servant, sharing her passion for improving the lives of all Michiganders.  Lynn has been a strong advocate the aggregate industry and her leadership and knowledge be greatly missed.

In the interim, Mary Ann Dolehanty will serve as Acting AQD Director.  Mary Ann is the current AQD Assistant Division Director and has served the DEQ in many leadership positions, including six months in 2016 as the Interim Chief for the Office of Drinking Water and Municipal Assistance.  With over 30 years of air experience, Mary Ann has developed a solid understanding of the AQD programs, its people, and its challenges.
