2022 Dues
On December 2, 2016 during the MAA Winter Conference, MAA members approved a bylaw change that modifies how MAA dues are determined. In the past, the dues structure was based on sale volume. However, the recently adopted bylaw change modifies the structure to be based on a flat rate plus the MSHA person hours as reported on the MSHA Form 7000-2 “Quarterly Mine Employment and Coal Production Report” for the production of aggregate (sand, gravel, slag, crushed stone and recycled concrete) as reported in the preceding year.
The following subunit codes are utilized for determining total working hours:
- 03 for our regular surface quarries
- 06 for sand & gravel dredging operations
- 30 for production plants (crushing/screening operations)
- 99 for scale-house operations
The MAA Board of Directors approved the following base and hourly dues rate for 2017.
2022 Producer Membership Dues Schedule
$1,500 base cost plus $0.19/hour for each reported MSHA person hour (based on 2020 data).
