Michigan’s aggregate industry sources sand, gravel and limestone needed to support our state's infrastructure, build schools, churches, hospitals, offices and more. We are dedicated to the redevelopment of mining sites into environmentally friendly uses, including lakes, farm land, solar farms, golf courses, wildlife preserves, and housing.
Our focus on future development means that land used for mining today will be reclaimed tomorrow, creating more uses and increasing taxable value than it had originally.
